Dear Old Central High

On the banks of the Mohawk

Stands the dear old Central High,

Where we spend our days together

And sing out the victory cry!

Through the halls that ring with laughter

And in faces young and bright,

Burns the spirit of youth eternal

Which makes our dark days bright.

In all sports and in the classroom

Our best we’ll always try,

And though error should beset us

Our purpose we’ll keep high.

When we leave these days forever

Good times we’ll ne’er forget.

These school days we’ll remember

With great pride and no regret!

It's Over

It’s over, he’s gone

Back to his world, his life

As it should be.

Snowbird

Beneath its snowy mantle cold and clean

The unborn grass lies waiting for its coat to turn to green

The snowbird sings the song he always sings

And speaks to me of flowers that will bloom again in spring…

Spread your tiny wings and fly away

Take the snow back with you

Where it came from on that day…

So, little Snowbird, take me with you when you go

To that land of gentle breezes where the peaceful waters flow…
