what a funny image! at first glance I saw the overall round shape and the "turn" knob and thought it was one of those machines you stick a quarter in to see the view across the lake or other scenic view. Then I noticed the details of the sequins and realized that could not be right, and it was more like a pair of opera glasses. But the lasting impression for me was the dark circles of the eyepieces that make the whole image just look like an owl's face to me! :-)

Great chrome looking shot. Is this from the albany field trip? Also, I like how there is a bit of a reflection in the lenses but you can't make out what it is! Very cool!

Anyway, love it. It looks like a face peering back at the photographer. Very clever that you say that the way you did.
