Through My Lens

Yesterday the rain clouds parted and sunshine filled the sky…at least for a short while.  As the old saying goes, “Make hay while the sun shines”…and I did.

A lovely afternoon was spent in the company of a good friend.  As we walked and talked, this is what I saw through my lens:

Friends are the sunshine of life.  ~John Hay

What a nice quote/sentiment and nice photos. I think what is fun is to go to a location and shoot with a friend and share what each saw. I would have passed up your "subjects" and I would have missed out as a result.
p.s. My one, unmentionable shot, will be used for the club's assignment, so I can't share!

I like them all, but am partial to the one of the plant on the steps...Love that one!

I like them all too, but the second and third are the real favorites. The tower is framed so nicely with the tree branches, and I love the planter with just part of the steps and the door showing.

This is the kind of photography that I should do more of. And it's definitely fun to do it when you're with someone.
